US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un have arrived in Singapore for their historic summit.
Mr. Trump flew in on board Air Force One, a couple of hours after Mr. Kim contacted down with his escort.
The two men are remaining in independent lodgings, not a long way from each other, and are planning for Tuesday's gathering on the resort island of Sentosa.
Mr. Kim revealed to Singapore's PM "the whole world is viewing". Mr. Trump has called it a "one-time shot" settled.
The US trusts the summit will kick-begin a procedure that in the long run observes Mr. Kim surrender atomic weapons.
The two leaders have had an extraordinary up-and-down relationship over the past 18 months, trading insults and threatening war before abruptly changing tack and moving towards a face-to-face meeting.
