The international tourist and domestic tourists are banned for two days to visit in Muktinath

On Monday, May 7, the District Committee of Mustang  decided to ban the posting of Mustang by passing through Thorong La for two days due to the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi

The administration office of Mustang, Jitendra balami told that the route from Beni to Jomsom will be a banned for two days for tourists.


The administration has decided to stop tourists arriving from Jomsom and Muktinath to an airline from Kathmandu and Pokhara.

District Administration Office, Mustang said that for the security of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi all service for Mustang will be stopped.

Modi is scheduled to visit Nepal on may 12. Chief District Officer of Mustang, Sishir Poudel, informed that the repair of Muktinath temple and highly specialized rooms, 108 streams, helipad construction and toilets for the special worship of Modi were given.

For the welcome of Modi, a special gate has been made at Muktinath village and temple gate. 


The 76-km Beni-Jamsom road with Thorang will be closed for two days.

Prakash Krishna Prasad Subedi, the head of Mukalath, who was ready for the entire process for the worship of the special guest in the temple, informed.
