Manang, a popular destination for tourism in Nepal

Manang is a town in the Manang District of Nepal. It is situated at 28°40'0N 84°1'0E with an elevation of 3,519 meters (11,545 ft). At the season of the 1991 Nepal enumeration, it had a populace of 391 individuals living in 120 individual families. 


It is arranged on the expansive valley of the Marshyangdi stream toward the north of the Annapurna mountain extend. The stream streams toward the East. Toward the West, there is the 5,416 meters (17,769 ft) high mountain go of "Thorong La". Toward the North, there is the Chulu East pinnacle of 6584 meters. Most gatherings trekking around the Anapurna will take resting days in Manang to adjust to the high elevation, before taking the "Thorong La" pass. The town is arranged on the northern incline, which gets the most daylight and the slightest snow cover in the winter. The development fields are on the North Slope with patios. 




There are no streets, just trails where most overwhelming merchandise are transported on donkey prepares or ported by doormen. 2.5 kilometers toward the East of the town there is a little airplane terminal serving the entire valley. The air terminal is genuinely later. It didn't exist in 1985. 

Other than providing food for the trekking bunches there is some farming and crowding movement (Yaks). There is a therapeutic focus which spends significant time in high-elevation disorder.
