Nepal Storm today purchased four Nepali cricketers in the group at a sale for the Asian Premier League which will be played at the Tribhuvan University Stadium from June 19 to July 4.
Nepal Storm, who have gotten previous national group opener Paresh Lohani as a notorious player, purchased Bhupendra Thapa for INR 100,000 (Rs 160,000), while Siddhanta Raj Shahi was sold for INR 70,000.
Essentially, Amar Singh Routela and Rajbir Singh earned INR 60,000 each amid the bartering here today. The four players had enrolled for the closeout.
Lohani said he was astounded of the pessimism in regards to the APL. "This is a decent competition and five Nepali cricketers will be playing in the primary release of the occasion," said Lohani.
An aggregate of six establishment based groups, including Nepal Storms, will take an interest in the competition being sorted out by the Ultimate Sports Management. Boss Patron of the ASL Swami Chinmayananda, who is the Vice-leader of SantMahasabha, India propelled the occasion yesterday.
Previous Sri Lanka captain Tillakaratne Dilshan will lead the Indian Stars, while Ajay Ratra of India is the tutor of the group. Swapnil Patil is the captain of Nepal Storm with Dimitri Mascarenhas as the group tutor, while Abdul Shakoor of the UAE is the group commander of Dubai Warriors with Charles Coventry of Zimbabwe as the guide.
Moreover, Al-Amin Hossain of Bangladesh will lead the Bangladesh Tigers, while Justin Kemp of South Africa is the tutor of the group. Rana Naveed Hassan and Imran Nazir, both from Pakistan, are the commander and tutor of Afghanistan Bulls, while Farveez Maharoof of Sri Lanka will lead the Sri Lanka Lions with Rusty Theron of South Africa as the group guide.
